SBR Supported Rods are perfect for use with SBR Linear motion ball slides. By eliminating the need for additional support brackets, these rods can be used over longer lengths for a continuous, uninterrupted motion. Additionally, the supported rod design increases rigidity while still maintaining the standard configuration of smooth rod setups, allowing for heavier loads to be incorporated into your application.
You can upgrade your standard smooth rod to a supported smooth rod by replacing the support blocks and smooth rod. This way, you can use an SBR bearing with as many supported smooth rods joined together as your application requires. Some common applications for this are 3D printers, CNC machines, robotics, measuring equipment and instrumentation, and other machinery.
